I am not the best at traveling. It takes me far too long (or forever) to make myself check out all the tourist recommended spots. Additionally, usually I’d rather sip some local beer in an interesting bar than visit a museum or a historical venue. I prefer endless and aimless walks throughout the unfamiliar neighborhoods to carefully planned trips. And if something that catches my attention turns out to be a legit tourist destination, I usually find out about this only after I come home. Hence if I may call myself a traveler, then only a lousy one. Which doesn’t bother me one bit.

This is an attempt to portray traveling as I approach it: in a laid-back, casual, non-demanding way of The Lousy Traveler.
