For uncertain reasons this is one of my favorite shots ever. Literally, I have tens of similar photos, taken throughout the different seasons and years. I am not quite sure what is so compelling about this view. I’d seen it day after day for nineteen years as it’s a mere hundred meters away from my home, and I still don’t seem to have enough of it. I’d think it was for lack of good competition if I didn’t know better. It’s just sometimes it’s not about skyscrapers, or seas, or white beaches, or nothing like that – at all. Sometimes it’s probably just about colors, shapes and perspectives that were the first magnificent things one’s ever seen.
If nothing else, let’s treat this as an introduction to a short series documenting my stay in Poland in December.
